I want to recommend an excellent program for quick screenshots and short videos — Jing. This is a development by TechSmith (the same guys who make Snagit and Camtasia), only as simple and light as possible. It is ideal if you need to quickly show something on the screen to a colleague or students: select an area, add arrows or text, and with one click upload it to Screencast - the link is immediately in the clipboard, you can paste it into a chat or an email. It records videos for up to 5 minutes, and the mouse highlights them. It weighs little, hangs in the tray and is always at hand. You can download the full version on the website without restrictions. A great tool for quick visual communication!
