How to get rid of snakes in the garden without chemicals?

Hi guys! I recently noticed some snakes in my garden. I live in the suburbs, and we often have mice and other small animals. Of course, the snakes attract it, and I don’t really want them to go home. I’ve heard that there are different ways of scaring the snakes - some suggest natural plants, some chemical preparations. Are there proven methods that really help reduce the appearance of snakes in the garden? Maybe someone has tried different options and is willing to share their experience?
