Gambling logic or emotional trap?

Tried to wrap my head around why I keep playing these low-stake games knowing full well the odds are stacked against me. Sometimes I win a little, most times I don’t. It feels almost meditative but also a waste. Anyone else stuck in this paradox of gambling without real gain? Wondering if there’s some logic behind it or if it's all just psychological self-sabotage. Would appreciate any takes or resources on this.
