How to make a passport copy for creative projects.

Hello everyone! Are there any people here who have created copies of passports for creative projects? Recently I needed to make one for a photo shoot where the models needed documents according to the scenario. I tried to simply edit the scan in a graphics editor, but I encountered quality problems. The proportions are not always correct, and the details shift. Please share how you solved such problems?you solved such problems?
