SyntaxError in kongregate_api.js (22, 456)

I'm trying to integrate the Kongregate API into my game but I get the error "SyntaxError in kongregate_api.js (22, 456)" when I try to initialize the API. How could I solve this?
Is the JavaScript API maintained or will it change with Kartridge?
As a suggestion, it would be nice to be able to freely use the API for login from the server API and not from the JavaScript client API. I know what to do for corporate image, but if that is why I think you could provide us with a unitypackage to do these operations.
